i am in a pickle here..

having only just sorted the zzr250. i am already looking for a litre bike to start on.

after a good convo with targanon, he brought up a good point the inline 4 is smoother in its opperation.

how ever i realy love the twin's sound. thump thump :D

its got me thinking, which do you prefer and why?

for me it would the torque of 1000cc in only 2 cylinders.

basicly this is what i am looking at.

98 onwards bike.

suziki tl100r
honda vtr 1000

or a kawasaki zzr1100
kawasaki zx10r (if theres an older one)

yamaha yzf 1000 r1

mmmm choices choices.

cheers.joe.

mate has a tlr, fucking nice but goddam heavy! honestly i would choose something else.
get an inline 4, so much nicer imo and more of a hoon machine.
check out a zx6r 636, damn nice bike!!!!!!
tried an early r1, wasnt impressed and it slapped like my kr hahaha
personally i reackon go a 600/750, you can really throw them around and the only place 1000s will get you is on straights, even then they will have trouble depenging on your bike and theirs :P

i am not realy after a superbike.

but a lazy bastard of a bike that will pull out of a corner, harder then a 12y.o with his first playboy mag.

i am after a effortless grunt.
